-- Is there a (future) doctor in the shed?

When we have had customers collapse at the check out area or faint in the field due to heat or exhaustion, these emergency medical situations are usually handled by whoever is close.  In  a few situations we were fortunate to have customers who were RNs but more often than not it is usually the Lakeview Farms employee who happens to be the closest.

I don't know whether Melanie Jones ( handling checkout in a June 1989 photo above ) ever had an "opportunity" to practice emergency medicine at Lakeview Farms but she certainly is now well qualified to do so-- Dr. Jones is now a pediatrician practicing in the Kansas City MO area.
