Later Nova Red Raspberries picking just beginning

With the cooler weather the Nova Red Raspberries are just starting to ripen with good size and color. A very limited supply of smaller Fall Gold yellow(actually orange now) raspberries will probably be available for early customers each day we are open.  The very hot weather of the past two weeks was very hard on the earlier Prelude but a good quantity of "uncooked" berries still remain.  Fall raspberry picking should continue until we have a hard frost or the end of October, which ever comes first.

As always, it would be a good idea to call me right before making a trip to the farm. Current picking hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday , Friday, and Saturday from 7:30 AM until 11:30 AM. Depending upon the availability of berries and the flow of customers we may make adjustments to our hours and days of operation but I will post this on our website at www.lakeview-farms.com/LateRaspberrySeason.htm.  Be sure to enter our farm at the LOWER level across the street from Grace Church and follow the instructions on the white dry erase board -- call me on my cell phone (636-387-2695) if you need additional help once you arrive.
